Inspired by her IVLP experience, Philomène launched a community project that empowered 39 widowed women through the cultivation of ginger and turmeric, creating new sources of income while preserving their traditional farming activities. Today, these women enjoy greater financial stability, improved access to healthcare, uninterrupted education for their children, and stronger economic resilience.
