Last week, VTTI and Höegh Evi welcomed customers and stakeholders to the Zeeland Energy Terminal (ZET) networking reception in Amsterdam. The event provided an opportunity to connect with industry peers, customers, and partners as we continue advancing the development of the Zeeland Energy Terminal - a strategic LNG infrastructure project that aims to strengthen energy security in the Netherlands and across Europe. Tom Smeenk, Executive Vice President Growth at VTTI, said: “Zeeland Energy Terminal will become the third LNG terminal in the Netherlands, representing 7.5 BCM of throughput capacity - equivalent to approximately 25% of the country’s gas demand. This event marked an important next step in our customer engagement process as we work towards signing Heads of Agreement and ultimately securing binding commitments for the project.” Thomas Thorkildsen, Chief Commercial Officer at Höegh Evi, added: “We are pleased to host this event together with our joint venture partner VTTI and to see the positive response from potential off-takers and partners. We look forward to engaging with customers and partners as we progress the Zeeland Energy Terminal development.” Following the strong interest received during the recent Expression of Interest phase, the reception provided an opportunity for customers and stakeholders to exchange perspectives, strengthen relationships, and support the continued advancement of the project. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this event and contributed to the discussions around the future of the Zeeland Energy Terminal. #VTTI #HoeghEvi #ZeelandEnergyTerminal #LNG
