When you were in Grade 4, were you creating sustainable products, running your own bazaar, and raising funds for environmental causes? Most of us probably weren't. That's why spending time with the students of Pathways School Noida left us genuinely inspired. The world is changing, and perhaps the most encouraging sign of all is seeing how aware, informed, and action-oriented today's children have become. At Pathways School, sustainability is more than a classroom topic. Every year, Grade 4 students undertake an inquiry-based learning journey around the 5 Rs - Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, and Recycle. The culmination of this journey is the Sustainability Bazaar, where students design, create, and sell eco-friendly products through their own hard work, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit. What makes this initiative even more meaningful is that the proceeds are donated to organizations working towards creating a better world. This year, these young changemakers chose Vrikshit Foundation. We are deeply grateful for their trust and support. Knowing that children are willing to work hard, create products, earn funds, and contribute towards environmental initiatives gives us immense hope for the future. 💚 Our team recently had the privilege of conducting an interactive sustainability session at the school, and the enthusiasm, awareness, and curiosity displayed by the students were remarkable. Their questions reflected a generation that understands environmental challenges and is eager to be part of the solution. And this is only the beginning. We are excited to soon welcome these young environmental champions for an on-ground plantation activity, where they will get the opportunity to turn their learning into action and witness firsthand how small efforts can grow into lasting impact. If this is what today's Grade 4 students are capable of, we can only imagine the future they will build.
