The front is often clean because that’s what people see. But the real waste? It hides behind the trails, deep inside the forests, where few choose to look. For the 2nd clean-up initiative of our 20-drive journey with OnGrid, we headed to Peacock Hill, Sanjay Van, to clean the hidden trails that are silently choking our green spaces. Despite the scorching heat and humid weather, 35+ volunteers came together for the environment and collected 150+ kg of waste in less than an hour. To make the drive even more engaging, volunteers were divided into teams of three for a friendly clean-up competition and the energy was unmatched. Because who says competitions can only be won on school or college stages?
