The most successful rail projects recognise that access is about more than simply getting onto site. It's becoming more common that project teams are integrating temporary roadway systems and RRAPs to create seamless routes. By bringing road and rail access together as one coordinated solution, projects can improve operational efficiency by supporting the safe movement of people, plant and materials throughout the works. There is also greater emphasis on early access planning, recognising the role it plays in supporting safe delivery, efficient logistics and successful project outcomes.
