Transnational conflicts increasingly shape #political life beyond the regions in which they originate, influencing debates over identity, belonging, and representation across #Europe. In this article, Keyan Roubaie examines how #politicalidentities shaped by external conflicts are reconfigured within diaspora communities, generating new forms of #mobilisation, #fragmentation, and contested representation. The analysis explores how these dynamics challenge conventional approaches to integration and raise important questions about social cohesion in an increasingly interconnected Europe. By connecting #migration, #identity, and #geopolitics, the analysis argues that contemporary integration #frameworks are not fully equipped to address the political dimensions of transnational belonging. Understanding these dynamics is essential for #policymakers seeking to strengthen social cohesion, foster meaningful participation, and navigate the evolving relationship between #diversity and #Europeanidentity in the twenty-first century. https://lnkd.in/evsT6bat
