Moving more goods, with fewer emissions🛤️🚢💪: Vossloh is at work on one of the most important rail freight projects in the Netherlands: the new global shunting yard at #Maasvlakte – Port of Rotterdam. Thanks to the Port of Rotterdam Authority’s commitment, projects like this show how modern rail infrastructure contributes directly to the #EuropeanGreenDeal. Our team is contributing to shift freight from road to rail – and from trucks to boats – with high‑performance turnouts for heavy haul delivered via the river Maas, to ensure reliable, safe and efficient operations on this strategically vital hub for European freight traffic. It’s the equivalent of one hundred trucks that we have shipped directly from our #NieuwLekkerland points and crossings factory.
