There’s a Swedish saying that goes: An accident rarely comes alone. Even though real-world accidents rarely include bumper cars, they do tend to involve multiple vehicles. Multi-car crashes are not only complex and dangerous, they often occur when trying to avoid another one. So we try to learn from the real world, designing our cars to do the same. Because collisions don’t wait their turn. And safety shouldn’t either.
