🎉 One million Polos. One production site. One global success story. 🚗 Volkswagen Group Africa has produced its one millionth current-generation Polo at the Kariega plant since 2017. The milestone vehicle is a smoky grey, right-hand-drive Polo GTI built for the South African market. What makes this achievement even more remarkable is its global impact: around 86% of all Polos built in Kariega have been exported to markets including Germany, the UK, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, while 14% remain on South African roads. 🌍 As the Polo's sole global production and export hub, Kariega supplies customers in 38 countries, showcasing South African manufacturing expertise on a global scale.
