⚡ At Power2Drive Europe 2026, Volkswagen Group and Elli are presenting the first Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) offer for Volkswagen Group brands Volkswagen, Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge and CUPRA. 🚗🔋 🔌 The offer brings together the key components customers need to use Vehicle-to-Grid: compatible electric vehicles from the selected Group brands, the new Elli BiDi Charger, the Volkswagen Naturstrom V2G Flow tariff , the Elli BiDi app and access to the energy market through Elli’s energy team. Already today, around one million Volkswagen Group vehicles based on the MEB platform are on Europe’s roads, including around 360,000 in Germany 🇩🇪, which are technically ready for bidirectional charging and therefore enable gradual scaling across multiple brands, models, and markets. With Elli, we have our own energy company to turn this technical capability into a market-ready energy service. This fundamentally reshapes the role of the automotive industry and the vehicle battery. As renewable energy grows, Europe needs more flexible storage solutions. 🔓🔋Vehicle-to-Grid can unlock the battery capacity already built into electric vehicles and gradually integrate it into the energy system.
