🎉 Volkswagen Slovakia is celebrating 35 years since the establishment in Bratislava. The plant was founded in 1991. It has since become the second-largest production plant of the Volkswagen brand in Europe. 🚗 Over the decades, the site has continuously expanded its portfolio and capabilities, now producing 10 models across four Group brands – Volkswagen, AUDI AG, Porsche AG and Škoda Auto. ✨ The anniversary also coincides with another milestone: the 8‑millionth vehicle recently rolled off the production line – a Volkswagen Passat delivered to a customer in the Czech Republic. This also carries a symbolic meaning - the very first vehicle ever produced in Bratislava was a passat and the story thus comes full circle.
