In our second episode of #VoliroLab, Håvard Brenne walks us through the first prototype of Voliro's B-scan rolling payload. A new scanning capability built on top of the Voliro T platform that takes us from 100 point measurements per hour to tens of thousands. 🧪 The Voliro T already leads the market in aerial robotic NDT, collecting thickness data at height, on curved surfaces, without scaffolding or rope access. With B-scan capability, it no longer just samples. It maps. What this unlocks for asset integrity teams: ① Continuous area scanning. Eliminating the risk of critical defects falling between measurement spots. ② Full B-scan records, thickness grids, and defect sizing generated during the flight. ③ A fraction of the cost and time of traditional rope access or scaffolding-based corrosion mapping. On assets that were previously too difficult, too dangerous, or too expensive to cover comprehensively. About #VoliroLab: Voliro Lab is where we share capabilities that are real and tested but still being shaped through early deployments and customer collaboration. We are now actively looking for asset owners who want to be part of pushing it further. If you manage critical infrastructure and want to be among the first to test this, reach out. 📩 [email protected] 🔗 voliro.com/contact #Voliro #NDT #BscanInspection #CorrosionMapping #UltrasonicTesting #AssetIntegrity #DroneInspection #CUI #PhasedArray #ContactBasedInspection #VoliroLab
