Today, we launched our 2026 ESG Reporting Suite, highlighting the measurable progress behind our purpose: to connect for a better future👏. Across our markets, connection is helping people access the tools, services and opportunities that support everyday progress – from digital and financial inclusion, to healthcare, education, accessibility, agriculture, enterprise growth and climate action. In FY2026, our mobile networks covered 595.8 million people, serving 237.3 million customers, including Safaricom. We reached 103 million financial services customers, enabled 4.0 million beneficiaries to access education through e-learning platforms and school connectivity programmes, and helped customers avoid 3.6 million tCO₂e emissions through IoT solutions. But the impact is also local: in Egypt, digital healthcare solutions served 13.5 million people, across 632 healthcare facilities; in Tanzania, 299 420 active M-Koba digital savings groups supported financial resilience; in South Africa and Kenya 99.4 million farmer vouchers were issued since 2021; and in DRC 4 million customers used M-Pesa Rollange for micro overdraft services.
