We are proud to celebrate the winners of the 2026 Vodacom Eco-Warriors Competition, a learner-led initiative that challenged young innovators across South Africa to develop solutions for real environmental challenges in their schools and communities πŸ’š. 🟩 St John Paul II Secondary School (KwaZulu-Natal) took first place with an initiative that transforms plastic waste into reusable planting pods, supporting a sustainable vegetable garden. 🟩 Hlahlindlela High School (KwaZulu-Natal) developed a digital water ambassador programme to help identify and report water leaks. 🟩 Worcester Secondary School (Western Cape) created educational tools from recyclable materials to promote waste separation and recycling. Through initiatives like Eco-Warriors and our Vodacom South Africa Schools of Excellence programme, we are helping learners access the skills, technology, and confidence needed to turn challenges into opportunities.
