𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 is a reminder that climate change is no longer distant; it is happening now, with rising temperatures, extreme weather events, and shifting ecosystems sending clear signals that demand urgent action🌍. At Vodacom, we are not only committed to extending connectivity across Africa but to do so while keeping in mind the necessity of safeguarding our planet. The planet does not negotiate. It sends signals, yet the signals we send back will define what comes next. The signal Vodacom is sending back is that we are working to minimise the environmental impact of our operations and, where possible, to work with partners across our value chain while progressing circularity initiatives for the technology we use and sell. This is why Vodacom’s net zero ambition and circular economy approach matters.
