Ventia is investing in the future of New Zealand’s infrastructure workforce through a series of hands-on initiatives designed to inspire and develop the next generation of talent. Across Northland, Waikato and Wellington, Ventia is delivering both its Gateway Programme and supporting Girls in Infrastructure giving students exposure to the essential services that support their communities. “It’s fantastic to see young people across Aotearoa gaining real, hands-on experience in the infrastructure sector,” says Damian Pedreschi, Group Executive. Students earn NCEA credits on-site, creating a direct pathway from education into employment, while strengthening their connection to the regions where they live and work.
