We’re delighted to continue our partnership with AFL Victoria for this year’s V/Line Cup - which is returning to the Gippsland region for the first time since 2018.   The 2026 event was launched in Morwell yesterday, with our CEO Will Tieppo joining Head of AFL Victoria Greg Madigan and Mayor of Latrobe City Council Cr Sharon Gibson to announce the return of the popular under 15 footy carnival to the region.   V/Line has been a proud partner of the V/Line Cup for the last 20 years and the Gippsland region produced last year’s No.1 AFL draft pick Willem Duursma, who now plays for the West Coast Eagles.   We look forward to watching up and coming footy stars show their skills in Morwell, Traralgon and Moe from September 21 – 23.   We hope many footy fans from across Victoria can show their support in Gippsland in September.
