It was an honor to meet Robert M. Buchan in Toronto and share a dinner with him, Dean Kevin Deluzio, and Will Pennell. Mr. Buchan, founder of Kinross Gold and a visionary leader in the mining industry, has made an extraordinary impact on our department through his generous support and commitment to advancing education of our mining students. I truly appreciated the opportunity to connect and learn from him.
