14 years of Innovation Labs Romania. To be honest .... this edition made me a bit nervous. As AI rewrites what it means to build software, I feared the students will be left confused about their role. So my opening statement was a reminder that being an engineer was never about writing code. It was always about solving problems. And was not disappointed. The ideas that came out of this hackathon were the best we've ever seen: enhancing how people read and learn, building a marketplace for work skills, using AI to help anyone build their perfect custom PC from scratch and many others.
