Some projects need time to truly mature…and this one is among those I'm most proud of — the new WACKER Chemie production facility at Business Park Karlovy Vary. 🏗️✨   I still remember meeting Frank Baumann for the first time in Cheb on November 3, 2021, during a site tour. It was foggy, we could barely see a thing, but a Martinmas goose dinner at Radniční sklípek on the town square more than made up for it. 🪿 🌧️ Another vivid memory: our first visit to the actual site with Wacker Chemie's managers and my colleague Dalida A. on April 11, 2022, standing knee-deep in tall grass in the pouring rain, already sketching out the first ideas for what this project could become. 📐   💙 Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the outstanding team of Wacker Chemie: Frank Baumann, Stefan Ragaller, Dr. Melanie John-Stadler, Andreas Krasemann, Robert Smutny , Florian Krinner Nearly 4.5 years of collaboration. Countless meetings in Burghausen and Pilsen. Concept after concept, calculation after calculation, multiple rounds of project documentation, and a demanding construction phase. 💪 It was and remains a truly remarkable project, and I'm deeply grateful we built it together. 🤝   🙏 This project would not exist without the unwavering support and trust of Pavel Sovicka, Klára Sobotková and Jiří Zita, and without the exceptional execution by Marek Čihák and Jan Zíka, who brought the construction to life. 🏆🔨   🏢 Thanks to Accolade as the investor behind this project : Milan Kratina, Jiří Stranský, Vit Pavelka, Hoang Thanh Le , who prepared Business Park Karlovy Vary with great care and were a support to our team throughout delivery. 👏   ⚖️ A special thank you also to the outstanding legal team at HAVEL & PARTNERS : Nikola Pospíšilová Leová and Pavlína Krušinová for their excellent and tireless support throughout the entire journey. 🙌   🇨🇿 This is an exceptional project, unique not only within the Karlovy Vary Region, but in the broader context of the Czech Republic.
