Last Saturday I visited the Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino. It was a great opportunity to slow down, discover new ideas and meet inspiring people. I was happy to meet friends from the Lions Clubs International, my friend Professor Fabrizio Bava, and attend the presentation of the book “Direzione Indipendenza” wrote by Lions Club Candia Lago. The project helps young people learn practical life skills, such as managing money, making decisions and facing difficulties. What makes this initiative even more important is that the proceeds will support youth camps for young people with disabilities. I also bought some books for myself about silence, Zen philosophy and personal growth. Sometimes books can help us see life from a different perspective.
