During London Tech Week I had the chance to listen to speeches from UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, both highlighting the UK’s ambition to become a global leader in AI and innovation. Some key themes that stood out: 🔹 Significant investment in AI infrastructure and computing power across the UK. 🔹 Large-scale AI skills programmes to prepare millions of people for future jobs. 🔹 Using technology and AI to improve public services, education, healthcare, and productivity. 🔹 London’s continued focus on attracting global talent, investment, and innovation. I was also inspired by insights from Dr. Lisa Su (Chair & CEO of AMD), Carolyn Dawson OBE (CEO, Founders Forum Group), and Brent Hoberman CBE (Co-Founder & Executive Chairman - firstminute capital, Founders Factory, Founders Forum Group) who shared their perspectives on entrepreneurship, AI, investment, and the future of technology.
