Does the Chinese state own TikTok, or is it a private company? We'll find out on the January 18th. I am not a huge fan of conspiracy theories concerning TikTok, but I am genuinely interested in discovering who owns it. Here is why it will be somewhat easy to tell... It looks unlikely that the Supreme Court will help TikTok, and TikTok will be forced to either sell or quit. If you are a state, TikTok's value is negligible, and its loss is, therefore, negligible. If you are a genuinely private company, you won't be able to afford the loss of such an asset, and you will sell. What do you you think?
