Did you know...? Alexander Victor from Davenport, Iowa, invented an electric washing machine for the White Lily Company. He then went on to invent a 16mm Motion Picture Camera and Projector. 🎥 #QChistory Alexander F. Victor originally worked for the White Lily Co. in Davenport and is credited with inventing the first motorized clothes washing machine. However, his love for photography, cameras and the projection of images compelled him to open his own business in 1910. Victor's creativity and ingenuity resulted in applications for 86 patents and the design of more than 150 different models of still and moving picture machines.
