🚢 The 2026 cruise season is underway for the Isle of Man Visit Isle of Man is preparing to welcome the first cruise calls of 2026, building on the momentum of a record‑breaking year for cruise tourism in 2025. Last year saw the Island welcome over 26,000 cruise passengers, generating an estimated £2.3 million in visitor spend and reinforcing the Isle of Man’s growing reputation as a valued cruise destination within the British Isles. Looking ahead, 45 cruise calls are scheduled for the 2026 season, including seven maiden visits. The year will also mark the arrival of the Island’s 500th cruise ship – a significant milestone in the continued development of our cruise sector. Cruise tourism plays an increasingly important role in supporting the visitor economy, providing meaningful benefits for local businesses while showcasing the Island’s heritage, landscapes and high‑quality shore experiences. Continued growth reflects strong partnerships with cruise operators, on‑Island businesses, attractions, guides and volunteers, all working together to deliver outstanding visitor experiences. We look forward to another successful season and to further strengthening the Isle of Man’s position as a must‑visit cruise destination. 🔗 Read more: https://lnkd.in/gwn_QDXS
