Last month, we welcomed Alfie Watts, winner of BBC's Race Across the World, to the Island to take on the Great Isle of Man Challenge. Across a week of filming, Alfie was set a series of challenges designed to showcase the Island's diverse and often unexpected experiences - from heritage and culture to adventure and wellbeing. Each challenge must be completed...or he'll face a forfeit decided by his own social media followers. Episode 1 sees Alfie dive into the Island's rich history and heritage, travelling the way visitors have for generations via our unique railways, and exploring iconic Manx National Heritage sites along the way. It's a journey through time that highlights just how much there is to discover in one compact destination.
