Five photographs capturing iconic Cork locations have been selected as official finalists in the Department of Public Expenditure’s national "Our Ireland, Our EU" photography competition. The initiative highlights how EU funding supports vital regional infrastructure. Local photographer Jessica Dale, alongside other featured entrants, has highlighted key Cork landmarks under Category 1 ('Photograph an Eligible Project Location'). The five Cork finalists are: "In Am (On Time)" – Cork Kent Station "Departures" – Cork Kent Station "Water Under the Bridge" – Mary Elmes Bridge "Between Blossoms and Bridges" "Mary Elme's Bridge by Night" How to Vote The competition is decided by a public vote, and the platform allows users to vote for multiple photos. As an incentive to encourage community engagement, the organizers are entering all voters into a raffle for a travel voucher.
