Virginia Tech is launching a new interdisciplinary AI minor this fall, designed to prepare students in every major for the AI-driven future. Jeffrey Loeffert, director of the Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts, was instrumental in shaping this program. “When we combine expertise from different disciplines, we create opportunities for students to explore new ideas and develop skills that wouldn’t emerge within a single field alone,” Loeffert said.
