Something is broken in how we talk about breaking into IB in Germany. Goldman Sachs Frankfurt accepted 0.8% of applicants last cycle. JPMorgan Frankfurt: 0.9%. Both reported their best IB fee years since 2021. More revenue. Same tiny doors. The standard advice is: get a target school, do 3 internships, grind LeetCode finance.
