A meaningful step for Reyneke Wines in the UK, rooted in purpose, reaching forward. Earlier this month, Johan Reyneke travelled to London to share more than just wine—he brought a story rooted in biodynamic farming, integrity, and respect for the land. At the heart of his visit: the official UK unveiling of the new Reyneke Estate Range. The journey began on Monday, 2 June, with a Regenerative Round Table at Rochelle Canteen—an inspiring conversation with UK sustainability leaders including Sarah Fulton Vachon (Citizens of Soil | B Corp), Kitty Grubb (Regenified™), Howard Gill (Grind), and Charlie White (The Slow Farming Company). It was the first introduction of the Estate Wines to the UK. On Tuesday, Johan hosted a press lunch at Apricity (a Michelin Green Star restaurant), where guests tasted the 2024 Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc, followed by the 2023 Syrah, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. That evening, an exclusive tasting at 67 Pall Mall featured rare cellar gems like the 2017 Reserve White and Red, and 2020 Cornerstone. His final day was spent on trade visits with the team at New Generation Wines Limited and wine buyers Matthew Horsley and Victoria Mason from The Wine Society, closing out the visit with thoughtful conversation and a shared commitment to quality and sustainability. A significant step forward in the UK for a brand that remains deeply rooted, yet always reaching.
