A lot has happened in the past few days in Dubai that has never happened before and the region as a whole but the manner in which the UAE has handled the situation is exemplary. I won't lie - It was a bit edgy at the start but then when you see the level of commitment that the UAE Government has towards its people - both natives and expatriates, it is incredible. As expatriates, it is important to respect the country you live in and stand by it and I've lived here for 21+ years and my friend here Jamie McGinlay has been here a bit longer. Loving the country that's 'home' is called 'integrity'. We find it ridiculous when people keep dunking Dubai on social media; some who are looking to run for the hills! Well...doesn't look like we're going anywhere. This country has got this! Proud of this country, the United Arab Emirates! PS - the almond croissant at Le Pain Coutidien is fantastic! And yes, before I forget - we weren't paid by the UAE Government to put this up, not that we look the influencer types! #staysafe #unitedarabemirates #peace #iranwar #epicfury
