🧬 For more than 100 years, innovation has been part of our DNA. Today, on World Creativity and Innovation Day, we are highlighting how AI is supporting teams across VINCI Construction’s companies. At Sixense Engineering, the in-house Caméléon solution helps detect anomalies in high-resolution drone images of bridges, tunnels and dams, enabling faster, more reliable diagnostics. In the United Kingdom, Jean Lefebvre (UK) Ltd has developed Maintenance Planner, a machine learning tool that models road network deterioration and shows that planned maintenance generates a significantly lower carbon footprint than reactive maintenance, while supporting more informed investment decisions. In France, the Backin solution helps scale up material reuse between worksites by automatically extracting data on available materials and matching projects accordingly. On demanding worksites, VINCI Construction Grands Projets, in partnership with Nerospec SK, is also testing autonomous tunnel trains for material transport, with the aim of removing teams from the most repetitive and exposed tasks. Developed in-house to preserve data confidentiality, the Select application reduces tender file pre-analysis from several hours to around 30 seconds, allowing engineers to focus on higher-value tasks. At VINCI Construction, innovation starts with people, operational needs and expertise. Often supported by the AI programme launched in 2020 by Leonard, VINCI Group’s innovation platform, these tools are designed to support operations – and the teams behind them. 🤝 🔗 Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/e_fWVb3x #WorldCreativityandInnovationDay #BuildBetterTogether
