🎉 Congratulations to Genvia as it marks five years. Low-carbon hydrogen has an important complementary role to play in the energy transition, helping address some of the challenges linked to renewable energy intermittency while supporting the decarbonisation of industry and mobility. Born from a unique public-private partnership, Genvia is helping advance a particularly promising technology: high-temperature reversible solid oxide electrolysis. By drawing on heat as well as electricity, this technology is considered today the most energy-efficient approach for producing low-carbon hydrogen, at low cost. It is also expected to reach maturity for large-scale deployment by the end of the decade. As part of our broader involvement across the hydrogen value chain – from production to storage, distribution and uses – we are proud to contribute to this collective effort alongside CEA, through CEA Investissement, SLB, Vicat and ARIS Occitanie, the regional strategic investment agency. 🤝 #LowCarbonHydrogen #BuildBetterTogether
