At VINCI Construction, performance is not measured only by technical excellence or financial results. It is also measured by our ability to ensure that our activities are understood, supported and accepted by stakeholders, local communities and civil society. That is why public acceptance is a strategic priority for us. This means acting early, maintaining close and continuous dialogue, and demonstrating respect every day through well-managed, safe, clean and clearly signposted sites. It also means building long-term trust through transparency, presence on the ground and concrete local engagement. Across our activities worldwide, a range of initiatives are helping to turn this ambition into reality: 1️⃣ Open and regular communication with local residents (mobile apps, presentations in schools, etc.) around construction sites for Line 15 as part of the Grand Paris Express project led by Société des grands projets, as well as long-term support to associations working locally on access to employment and social cohesion. 2️⃣ Locally tailored initiatives through employment on projects, such as Springbank in Canada and City Rail Link in New Zealand, where training, mentoring, the inclusion of Elders and Indigenous cultural values help strengthen local inclusion. 3️⃣ Efficient fencing on the Olympic Swimming Pool project in Senegal, where clear site hoarding and signage help improve integration into the local environment. 4️⃣ Original dialogue initiatives in our quarries, including sportive events like Rock n’Trail in Munéville‑le‑Bingard Quarry in Normandy. 5️⃣ Deployment of our environmental label across VINCI Construction’s activities. The Nantes Enrobés and Chammes Enrobés plants (Pays de la Loire, western France) are the first VINCI Construction asphalt plants to have received a 5-star rating based on rigorous criteria, such as the use of carbon-free energy, the production of asphalt with a high recycled content, and integration into the surrounding landscape. Every day, we strive to build projects that are not only successfully delivered, but also understood, respected and supported locally. Because building in a territory also means listening to it, respecting it and contributing to it. #BuildRespectEveryDay #BuildBetterTogether
