Our #mainbhikisan Farming experience and learnings @2021 : achieved 35-40 % Productivity Enhancement. 1. Have patience and Be BOLD : don’t hesitate to take risk : changed sowing spacings - optimized seed rate to reduce plant density and enable them to grow freely - continuous weather monitoring specially @ time of Sowing and Harvesting and protecting from untimely rains. 2. Collaboration- used available resources ( Man and Machine’s) Demonstrate the purpose and benefits of change to rise and enable people to change mindset . Have good partners and form good Team, own inputs & outputs. Trust locals and experts experiences to take right decisions. 3. Be Agile - don’t wait others to act - start with you : timely sowing ,pest & weed management and Harvesting - healthy , quality & matured crop. 4. Focus on Quality of input’s and Input use efficiency - Good seeds, fertilizers and developing own growth regulator formulas - gave good quality of crop and highest productivity , used low volume sprayers to increase input use efficiency . 5. Harvesting Management- adopted conventional manual harvesting and Low RPM threshing to avoid damages of seeds and protect germination quality: used gravity cleaner +grader on-site to protect quality of harvesting and produce. Used sun drying , selecting right storage bags & preservatives to increase shelf life and reducing storage losses. The KEY is COLLABORATION - AGILITY- BOLDNESS : Team-Up , take timely & right decisions , deploying your technical experiences & project management skills , listen to locals experiences and convert every opportunity to enhance crop productivity with Gratitude.
