Education Management/Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)/Language Education and Testing

I'm pleased to share a paper of mine which was published in the Proceedings of The First International Conference on Sustainability and Innovation in Vietnam in 2025. "Assessing Changes in Professional Attitude, Behavior, and Results of Participants after the Training Program on Rooftop Photovoltaic (PV) Systems at Ninh Thuan Vocational College." As countries accelerate the green energy transition, an important question remains: Does technical training lead to lasting change in teaching practice and professional outcomes? Using a mixed-methods approach and a modified Kirkpatrick evaluation framework, this study examined the long-term impact of rooftop PV training for vocational teachers in Vietnam. Some key findings: 🔹 Teachers demonstrated strong and sustained changes in instructional practice following the training. 🔹 Behavioral change—not attitude alone—was the strongest predictor of professional outcomes. 🔹 Institutional support and personal motivation were key enablers, while workload and policy constraints remained significant barriers. 🔹 The study highlights the importance of evaluating training based on real-world application rather than immediate learning outcomes. I hope these findings contribute to ongoing discussions on greening TVET, renewable energy workforce development, and evidence-based evaluation of capacity-building programs. I am grateful to everyone who supported this research, especially the teachers and managers at Ninh Thuan Vocational College who generously shared their experiences. #TVET #RenewableEnergy #SolarPV #GreenSkills #EnergyTransition #VocationalEducation #EducationResearch #Sustainability #Vietnam
