Semester 3 From dreaming of getting an A+ in any course to getting the first A+ in my university courses. Well, semester 3 was an unimaginable semester for me. The courses were suddenly very tough and instead of taking an SSH as my 5th course I had taken Number Theory which was a MTH course and not as easy. I had 3 maths courses namely DM, NT, M3. I could no longer just sit before a night before an exam and get good marks in courses. DM course well particularly was conceived as tough course by all my friends Ashwin Singh Saanvi S. Mayank Kumar Rishi Banerji Mohammad Umar Ansh Gaur to name a few. What I noticed was that the attendance till the mid semester had dropped by 180 to 50. After scoring good marks in mid term I still continued to go to every class, but now the attendance had further reduced to 10-20 students merely. Although I didn't study very much for it but I was regular in attending classes. I used to study one or two days before quizzes or exams but I always scored good marks because my understanding was developed. Then came the end-semester exam. It has a lot of questions and a weightage of 50% of whole grade. There was a question from every topics taught in class and I had seen some of the questions in class itself. I could solve every question except just one which also I had purposely left because I didn't want to study further. When the results came, I got an A+ but many of my friends struggled to get good grades, and some even I/F's. So I would like to share that if you are regular in attending your classes, develop an understanding of the topics instead of mugging them up, you too can score good. Thanks for reading this far!
