Huge congratulations to the Dingley Village Men's Shed on winning the joint 2026 Green Shed Award at the Australian Men's Shed Association (AMSA)'s national Gathering and Awards Night! What started in 2019 with a group of retired engineers and an idea has turned into one of the most impressive recycling projects in the Men's Shed movement. Over 20,000 plastic milk containers diverted from landfill and transformed into benches, garden stakes, deck chairs and more for the community. From the chopper and granulator to the custom built extruder and finished bench seats now sitting at the Keysborough Bowls Club, this is innovation, mateship and community spirit at its absolute best.
