Join us in congratulating Uncle Phil Cooper AM – Yorta Yorta, Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurong, Mutti Mutti, Wemba Wemba – who was presented with a Medal of the Order of Australia in recognition of his work! 🎉 🎖️ The medal was given to honour his lifelong service to community in Victoria, working to heal, connect and protect Aboriginal children, young people and families. Uncle Phil was one of VACCA's founding members in 1976, served on our Board for 14 years and was VACCA's acting CEO in the 1990's.
