Last week felt like a European tech marathon 🇪🇺 Between VivaTech during the day and several events in the evenings, I spent the week immersed in discussions about innovation, entrepreneurship and, of course, AI. The pace at which technology is evolving is truly impressive. AI was everywhere, in conferences, demos, startup pitches, and almost every conversation. One topic that particularly resonated with me throughout the week was Europe’s ability to shape its own technological future. From AI to digital infrastructure, strengthening European collaboration is no longer just an opportunity, it is a necessity if we want to remain competitive while building technologies that reflect our shared values. Europe’s technological sovereignty will not be achieved by any single country or organization, but by our ability to innovate, scale, and collaborate across borders 🌍 Yet what I will remember most from this week isn’t just a specific technology or announcement. It’s the people, the conversations and new connections, the opportunity to exchange ideas, challenge perspectives, and learn from experiences across different countries and industries. From the Romanian Embassy 🇷🇴 to PariSanté Campus 🇫🇷, the Polish Embassy 🇵🇱 and the halls of VivaTech itself, one thing stood out: while technology continues to evolve at an incredible speed, meaningful relationships and collaborations remain one of the most valuable assets in our ecosystem. As someone who is French-Polish and has spent the last few years working across DACH & CEE markets, it was particularly inspiring to see how connected the European tech community has become, but also how much opportunity still lies ahead for deeper collaboration across our ecosystems. A great week of learning, reconnecting, and meeting new people 🚀 Thank you to my amazing teammates from La French Tech Krakow, and a special thank you to French Tech Bucharest and French Tech Berlin for the invitation, as well as to all the other La French Tech communities for helping connect ecosystems, founders, and ideas across borders not only during VivaTech.
