International strategic purchasing, sourcing and project development for food in organic and Naturland quality | Fascination for permaculture, agroforestry, sustainability and circular economy

For quite some time, I’ve been fascinated by the idea of blending different landscapes into one living system 🌍🌱 Today I’m sharing one of my first AI-supported sketches exploring this concept 🤖🧠 The idea is simple in theory, but powerful in practice: 👉 create a low-maintenance, self-sufficient, and resilient ecosystem that regenerates soil, supports biodiversity, and reduces dependency on external inputs 🌿 What makes this approach especially interesting is the integration of different elevation zones within one system ⛰️ In regions like the Peruvian Andes (e.g. La Convención Province), altitude changes over relatively short distances create natural microclimates 🌦️ This allows for: - a wider variety of crops (from tropical to highland species) 🌴🌾 - natural risk diversification ⚖️ - more stable year-round food production 📆 By applying agroforestry and permaculture principles, the system aims to: - reduce disease and pest pressure through biodiversity 🐝🌸 - improve long-term soil fertility (instead of depleting it) 🌱 - create a multi-layered production system (ground cover → trees) 🌿🌳 - avoid reliance on monocultures 🚫🌽 What fascinates me most is that this isn’t about maximizing short-term yield — it’s about designing a system that becomes more productive, resilient, and alive over time 🔄🌍 This sketch is still just a starting point, but it helped me visualize how such a system could look at scale 🧩 A lot of inspiration for this came from traveling and observing different landscapes, including ✈️: - Provence (southern France) 🇫🇷 - Órgiva / Alpujarras (Spain) 🇪🇸 - Tenerife & La Gomera (Canary Islands) 🌋 - the Eje Cafetero (Colombia) 🇨🇴 - Lake Bunyonyi (Uganda) 🇺🇬 …and of course from the work and ideas of allies in agroforestry and regenerative design 📚 Claudio Carnevale, Toenjes de Vries, Joachim Milz, Benedikt Bösel, Johannes Milz Martinez, Philippe Birker, Ernst Götsch, Sepp Holzer, Milenka Rojas Ramirez, Philip Barton, Fyto Sandoval, Lucia Descarpontriez Rojas, Victor Anspach, Katja Degonda, Ivanoé Koog, Hüseyin Barış Tosun as well as...
