It’s a big tick from us! 🌈☑️ The Rainbow Tick Implementation Program in Victoria has reached a huge milestone. We now have 100 community and mental health organisations that are on a journey to become safe and affirming for Victoria’s diverse LGBTIQA+ communities. 👏 One of the largest accredited organisations is Better Health Network. They have more than 700 staff members and multiple services across southern Melbourne. Vasileios Tsialtas is a Consumer Advisor on the Rainbow Tick Committee at Better Health Network. He has seen the benefit of organisations getting Rainbow Tick accreditation. ✨‘Better Health Network’s engagement with the Rainbow Tick Implementation Program was a significant step toward cultural change,’ says Vasileios, ‘it has strengthened their inclusive practice across the service, while helping create a safer and more welcoming environment for LGBTIQA+ clients’.✨ ✅ A big thanks to Vasileios for sharing his experiences. ✅ A big thanks to Better Health Network and all the accredited organisations. ✅ A big thanks to Rainbow Health Australia for running the show.
