At VIB, our neuroscientists at the VIB-KU Leuven Center For Neuroscience and the VIB-UAntwerp Center for Molecular Neurology explore how neurons connect, how these connections break down in disorders like Alzheimer’s, ALS, and Parkinson’s, and how we might repair or protect them before symptoms appear. This year’s World Brain Day theme is “Access for all”, highlighting early intervention, prevention, and equitable access to neuroscience innovations.
