Reference project: Gare EOLE Porte Maillot, a major transport hub in the heart of Paris 🚉🚇 Public transport infrastructure Inaugurated in 2024 and designed by architect Jean‑Marie Duthilleul (agence duthilleul), the EOLE NExTEO project at Porte Maillot in Paris is transforming the travel experience between Paris and the western Île‑de‑France region. Every day, more than 35,000 passengers move through a bright underground space, where natural light reaches the platforms thanks to a bold architectural design. 🔥 In underground infrastructure, every second matters when it comes to fire risk. Vetrotech Saint‑Gobain and Calcagni Métallerie rose to this challenge by integrating CONTRAFLAM ® and CONTRAFLAM® Lite fire‑resistant glazing (EI60 / E60) into steel profiles. Used in inclined façades, glass partitions and doors, these solutions help contain fire, protect circulation areas and allow daylight to flow down to the platforms.
