Courage, Ownership, Respect, Energy. These are our CORE Values at Vesuvius. These values define our culture, shape the way we work, and determine how we recognise people who make a real impact in our company. We recently celebrated those who have brought our CORE Values to life through our annual Living The Values Awards. Chosen from more than 900 exceptional  nominations, our winners stood out for embodying these values through their work over the past year. Courage: Agnieszka Romek, a Plant Manager, based in the USA, was recognised for her work to implement change at one of our key plants in the country. Ownership: Doanh Nguyen, Hoang Phan, Long Duy Nguyen, and Minh Khoa D, all based in Vietnam, were critical in launching cutting-edge Vesuvius products with a key customer. Respect: Estefania Drake, Giovanna Lopes, and Gisele Rocha, based in Brazil, led the development of the Ladies of Vesuvius (LOVe) programme. Energy: Thomas Heerink, Andreas Detsch, Stefan Baak, Dominic Strack, Benjamin Lerch, Florian Nietzold, and Kenneth Stuhr, a team that was instrumental in delivering a demanding upgrade to a customer site in Germany.
