1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ On Global Wind Day, we’re celebrating installing 100 of our V236-15.0 MW turbines at sea globally. The milestone 100th turbine was installed at ORLEN S.A. and Northland Power Inc.’s Baltic Power offshore wind farm. Once complete, the project will consist of 76 turbines with low-emission steel towers and will amount to around 1.2 GW of homegrown European energy. With V236 projects underway off the coasts of Germany, Poland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, we are proving something important with our customers: offshore wind is Europe’s fastest route to greater energy independence. It helps reduce reliance on volatile energy imports and supports more stable electricity costs. Thank you to our customers, partners and colleagues for helping us reach this milestone.
