Big day at our Taranto blade factory as we cut the ribbon on our new offshore blade finishing lines. ✂️ Our Taranto colleagues have been at the heart of our offshore ramp-up. As we continue to install our V236-15.0 MW™ offshore wind turbines across various projects, we can be extremely proud of the work done here. We have been producing onshore blades in Taranto since 1998. Back then, the first blades were 13 metres long. Today, Taranto is a key part of our onshore and offshore manufacturing footprint, producing blades exceeding 115 metres and capable of generating 70 times more energy than those early models 28 years ago. Taranto continues to show how a strong European wind energy footprint creates high-quality jobs, strengthens energy security, lowers electricity costs, and reduces reliance on energy imports. 👏👏👏
