It's been a good year so far. We've raised the flags, taken our relations out on the water, and marked 75 years the way it should be: together with the people around us. But in between the celebrating, the grabs keep doing their thing. Like here. Because when you're moving bulk, how a grab closes matters. A little spillage per cycle doesn't look like much, but multiply it across thousands of cycles and it adds up. Lost material, extra cleanup, a slower operation. The cleaner the shells seal around the material, the less you lose on the way up. It's one of the many things you learn to get right over 75 years of building grabs: holding onto what you pick up, cycle after cycle.
