ATT&CK has been the standard for mapping adversary behavior for over a decade. But it was built for infrastructure, servers, endpoints, and credentials. MITRE ATLAS covers what ATT&CK cannot: attacks on the ML system itself. Techniques like prompt injection, data poisoning, and model inversion have no equivalent in ATT&CK's enterprise matrix because traditional software does not fail that way.
