As part of this week’s World Bank and IMF Spring Meetings, our VEON delegation, led by Founder and Chairman Augie K Fabela II, met with senior leaders within the IMF, Krishna Srinivasan, Director of the IMF Asia Pacific Department, Marco Marini Head of the IMF Big Data Center, and Katherine Baer, Deputy Director of the IMF Fiscal Affairs Department. During these meetings, our delegation emphasized the role of digital services and connectivity in enabling the growth agendas of our markets, and underscored how these capabilities can help build the solid foundations that IMF also advocates in the the developing world.
